The ECT-15050 is a 15-ton battery-powered hydraulic crimping tool for copper and aluminum cable connections up to 630 mm². A 50 mm piston stroke and 700 bar rated pressure provide the force needed for large cross-section terminations in power distribution and industrial cabling.
A two-stage hydraulic system with automatic retraction advances the ram quickly in the first stage and shifts to high-pressure mode on contact. The included die adapter accepts both 12-ton dies (Cu 16–400 mm²) and 15-ton dies (Cu 500–630 mm²), providing coverage from small branch wiring to main feeder cables with one tool. At 9.4 kg with a body size of 51 × 28 × 8 cm, the ECT-15050 is built for heavy-duty field use and workshop production.

Q1:What is the maximum cable size this tool can crimp?
630 mm² copper or aluminum. The standard kit includes a die adapter that takes both 12t dies (Cu 16–400 mm²) and 15t dies (Cu 500–630 mm²).
Q2:What makes the 15-ton model different from the 6-ton and 12-ton models?
The ECT-15050 uses big jaw for larger crimping capacity. It is designed for large cross-sections (500–630 mm²) where smaller tools cannot achieve a complete cold weld. It also has a longer 50 mm stroke.
Q3:Can I use my existing 12-ton dies with this tool?
Yes. The die adapter included with the ECT-15050 accepts standard 12-ton dies (Cu 16–400 mm²), so you can use your existing die sets alongside the larger 15-ton dies.
Q4:Is the battery compatible with other BETE tools?
Yes. Uses the standard BETE 18V Li-ion platform, interchangeable with ECT-6022, ECT-12042, ECT-60UNV, and ECT-105C.
