The flip-open C-head rotates 360°, allowing operators to position the tool in switchgear cabinets, overhead line work, and trench installations where workspace is limited. The two-stage hydraulic system rapidly advances the ram to the connector, then engages high-pressure mode for a controlled crimp cycle, with automatic pressure release once the rated force is reached.
An OLED display provides cycle count, battery status, and maintenance alerts. The 18V Li-ion battery platform supports approximately 120 crimps per charge on Cu 150 mm² connectors. At 4.1 kg and measuring 29 × 28 × 7 cm, the ECT-6022 fits standard tool cases and can be carried with the included shoulder strap for elevated-platform and climbing work.
